Published on occasion of Sean Scully's first major exhibition in Eastern Europe in 2020.

'Passenger' at the Museum of Fine Arts- Hungarian National Gallery surveys all of the major periods of Sean Scully's oeuvre from his early work in the 1960s, through the minimalism of the 1970s, and the compositions of the 1980s built from expressive bands and marked by plasticity, to his groups of works associated with window and wall motifs, all the way to his recent turn to figurative painting. Including over 60 works which include monumental paintings and paper works as well as sculptural and photographic compositions.

This exhibition catalogue includes texts by Sean Scully, exhibition curator Dávid Fehér, critics David Carrier, Arthur C. Danto, Kelly Grovier and Raphy Sarkissian.
