Gerard Byrne, Beasts

Published on occasion of the exhibition “Beasts” at Secession, Vienna in 2019.

This publication contains a text by the artist, illustrations of black-and-white silver gelatin and colour photographs taken in the Biologiska Museet in Stockholm. The museum was conceived to house a building-size 360-degree diorama depicting a panoramic sweep of the Nordic wilderness and closed in 2017.
